Maybe to a avoid any tax "problems"?
Food was fresh and tasty. Friendly service. Only drawback is that overall the place needs a good scrubbing.
My friend and I popped in for lunch today again and were extremely pleased with the food. I have been eating here for a long time and will continue to come back. You must be careful though because their deep fried spring rolls are addicting! There is also an amazing little ice cream shop across the street that has gluten free ice cream sandwiches. I am trying to watch my weight but what a great way to enjoy my cheat day. Bon Cafe for lunch and "Innocent Ice Cream" for dessert.
Best Lemon Grass Chicken in town
Generous portions, food very tasty, lots of options and wonderful family.
Got pho and banh mi. Enjoyable but not the best and my fav in Vancouver
Friendly service and good food.
This is one of my go to pho restaurants in the Vancouver area. Fantastic soups, spring rolls and Bahn mi. There is also an extensive bubble tea menu. Staff are always helpful and friendly, recommending new items that they think you will enjoy. Great prices! Would recommend!
The mid size of the special pho became $12 from $10. Overprised.
Pho done the way it should be. With seating for less than 50 leave the friend group at home and treat yourself!
Yes! This was my go-to pregnancy craving restaurant. Everything I ordered was excellent, from the seafood soup, chicken soup, and beef soup, to the sandwiches,.Their tea is hot, and the service is quick. Prices are unbeatable.Don't expect super clean, any sort of decor, or fancy presentation. Do expect really really good food.
A hidden gem. Not an impressive location or setup, but amazing food and great staff. The pho is delicious and well priced, the spring rolls were huge and surprisingly good as we're the sauces. Parking can be an issue, though in the alley you can find a few visitor spots you can probably use if having take away orders. Will go back for sure.
Great.. awesome place to chow noodlz such a great menu
Nice cozy place with amazing food and excellent waitstaff.
Excellent food, good prices, average service. I'd say is the closer to home cooked meals I've found around my place.
In my experience a typical Vietnamese restaurant with typical Vietnamese food which is to say good food at reasonable prices. Service was OK. Our server did not check in with us after food was sampled.
One of my new favourite Vietnamese restaurants. Lynch combo of Pho and Bahn Mi is a great value and absolutely delicious. Beef pho loaded with protein.
Good pho, mediocre bubble tea.
Food is very tasty, great value for money
I phoCKING LOVE IT HERE. THEIR SPRING ROLLS R NUMBER ONE!!!!! DONT CHANGE RECIPE PLEASE
Good food, narrow and small location. Food is prepared fresh and tastes well made. Only issue is they make it their way, so request for stuff or ommissions are easily forgotten. Could be a concern when allergies are concerned
Great little neighbourhood restaurant. Beef stew was fantastic. Small portion of meat in the chicken sub. Pho is really tasty though as well. Ordered for takeout.
Simply the best and most legit pho in Vancouver! The owners Hau & Tina are super nice too! This place is a must go for Pho Lovers! 😊🙏❤️🍲
Nice beef noodles and great sandwiches. The staff is friendly and always wears a smile. We'd like to come again.
Small, clean, family-run restaurant that serves your comfort pho and other dishes you can’t find elsewhere. My favorite is the seafood gumbo which has a strong fish taste that’s not for everyone. Portions are generous and the owner is nice!
Quieter than other Vietnam restaurants. Price is good for the quality of food.
My one of many "go to restaurant" for Pho and Vietnamese dishes 👍👍
Bon Cafe is the best pho in the city. Awesome prices and delicious food. Highly recommend🍲😀
My neighbourhood pho place. Good pho and coffee. Better than Pho Tan imo
One of the best Bahn Mi I've ever had
Great pho spot in the south Main St area. Highly recommend the spring rolls and the Cambodian style, soup if you're a bit adventurous.
Good food at a good price with friendly service. Definitely recommend!
Hidden gem in a sea of Phò. Only because I moved out of Eastvan will I share this amazing place. Thank you Bon Cafe! Great food, great service, beautiful people!
The best spring rolls in town. Huge portions. And the pho is great!
The banh mis are the best! Very flavourful with juicy meats and fresh veggies
Simple family owned & operated cafe with delicious Vietnamese food. I had the Pork with spring rolls on vermicelli noodles bowl. I've had many versions of this and this is one of my favorites! I loved that they were generous with the fresh & pickled vegetables and generous with the pork. Also, they added some caramelized onion bits to the pork which was delicious. The spring rolls were very crispy bursting with vegetable fillings. I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit.
Food always tastes great! Service is fast.
The sautéed beef soup is pho real! The charbroiled pork vermicelli with spring rolls is da business!
Decent pho, quality beef
very delicious and clean
Beef broth was okay and portions were decently sized. A bit overpriced and subpar compared to other pho place in Vancouver.
Came in on a snowy evening to have a hot bowl of soup noodles. Been here a few times. My go to dish is the chicken noodles but decided to try something different. Went for their satay chicken soup instead. Found it to be good. Don't let the colour fool you, it is not spicy. I find the pho here to be decent. Had their grilled chicken once before and it was more charcoal than chicken. My other go to are their subs. Specifically the grilled pork which is pretty darn good. Only ever dealt with the male owner who is friendly and courteous. Always a smile for anyone. Prices are decent and average. Overall, it is a good cosy place to have a quick meal. Especially if you do not want to wait out in the cold for the never punctual 33 bus.
I really enjoyed the food here. Parking was a bit tricky, and it's definitely not super fancy inside.
Bon Cafe is a relatively small casual Vietnamese noodle house. Street parking along Main and E 33rd Avenue. It is a fairly small restaurant, packed with long tables and chairs. Very tight to move around in the restaurant. The food was good, especially their spring rolls. A good eatery to have a good bowel of noodle soup.
I would exclusively eat here if I could, it's that good.
The Bahn mi here is unmatched. Their bread is so fresh, and the cooks really load up on the meat and veggies as well. It's a good restaurant for a quick bite - I always appreciate the friendly and speedy service here. Their grilled beef short ribs with rice is delicious too!
Have been here twice and both times had a delicious vegetable and tofu satay soup and veggie spring rolls. The server was very accomodating with our customization requests. The only reason I did not give this restaurant 5 stars is the tables are too close together for my liking and you often have to share with strangers when it it busy but the food was fresh, hot and tasty.
This place can't be best for price, quality and service. Hands down best pho I've tried and the lunch combo makes getting a soup and sandwich cheaper than. Just a soup at most places. Always quick service, never disappointed. Will often drive 30+ mins on a weekend for lunch here
Food and service are excellent.
Food and prices are very very good.
First time there and was impressed with the freshness of the meat and veggies.Soup was hot, which is a must for Pho.Definitely going back.Note, if groups of 3 or more, you will need to share a table. This is a small place.
